Septic Compliance and Land Use Permit Notice

Sherburne County requires that the septic system on the property is newer than ten (10) years or has a passing compliance inspection on the system in the past ten (10) years for any building permits (other than maintenance permits).

Additionally, Sherburne County requires a Land Use Permit be completed for permits that change the footprint of existing structures on the property, including, but not limited to: new construction homes, accessory buildings, additions, decks, etc.

For more information on both of these requirements by Sherburne County, please review this document in it's entirety.
